undp.kosovo 🌾 This International Day of Rural Women, meet Fatime from CSO Rona & Fatjona in Malishevë/Mališevo! A new skill can open the door to something much bigger! ✨ Through EU support she work with local partners, Fatime has helped create opportunities for women to learn, connect, and turn their creativity into new possibilities. Through hands-on workshops, women from rural communities, including women with disabilities, learned to make bags and other handmade products. This has helped them gain more than practical skills, providing them a space to share ideas, support one another and explore how their talents could lead to employment or even a business of their own. 💛 When women have the opportunity to learn and grow, they can discover just how much they are capable of achieving. This International Day of Rural Women, we celebrate Fatime, helping women build confidence, strengthen connections and take their next steps towards greater economic independence. 🌱 Every opportunity matters, every skill has potential, and every woman deserves the chance to shape her own future. This activity is supported through the Regional Programme on Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 3 (#ReLOaD3) project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), in partnership with the Municipality of Malishevë/Mališevo.
