undp.kosovo 🎨 A little creativity can help us express what words cannot. In Gjakovë/Đakovica, young people joined CSO Activism Roots for an art therapy session, using creativity as a way to explore their feelings, express themselves and connect with one another. Art therapy can help young people build self-confidence, manage stress and communicate emotions that may be difficult to put into words. By creating a safe and supportive space, activities like these can also encourage empathy, strengthen social connections and open conversations about mental health. 🖌️🌱 Because mental health matters, creating spaces where young people feel heard, understood and supported is essential for building healthier, more resilient and connected communities. 💚 This activity is supported by the Regional Programme on Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 3 (ReLOaD3) project, funded by the European Union and implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Municipality of Gjakovë/Đakovica. #MentalHealthMatters #ArtTherapy #YouthEmpowerment #ReLOaD3 #EU #UNDP
