oscekosovo 🟧 The fight to end violence against women and girls continues, with every step bringing us closer to a future free from gender-based violence. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃 The streets of Mitrovicë/Mitrovica South became a symbol of solidarity as participants joined the OSCEKosovo marathon “16K for 16 Days: Echoes of Change”, a 16-kilometre run bringing people together to raise awareness and stand against Gender-Based Violence (GBV). 🟦 More than a sporting challenge, the run was a collective call to end GBV, promote equality, respect and safety for all. Every kilometre highlighted the importance of collective action, challenging harmful social norms, speaking out against violence, and ensuring survivors are heard, believed and supported. While the run has come to an end, the call to break the silence, challenge harmful stereotypes and take action against GBV must continue every day. 👈 Thank you to everyone who ran, supported and stood together for this important cause. 🫶 #LetsTalk #EndVAW #16Days 📸OSCE/Leurina Mehmeti
